The higher the curiosity, the higher the conversion. A curiosity headline hints at a secret, a result or a mistake without giving the answer away. To close the loop, the reader has to read, opt in or watch.
If a landing page is not converting, there is usually not enough curiosity in the headline.
Do it step by step
- Name a result and hide the method: How I did X without Y.
- Name a mistake: The one thing that is quietly killing your sales.
- Use a number with a promise: 3 pages that sold 40,000 dollars.
- Never promise what the page does not deliver.
