Lead Squeeze Funnel

The simplest funnel there is: trade something useful for an email address.

A lead squeeze funnel is usually two pages. The first page has a headline built on curiosity, a short promise and one form. The second page is a thank you page that delivers the free gift and points to the next step.

It sits at the bottom of the value ladder. Its only job is to turn traffic into leads so you can follow up later. It works for cold traffic because the ask is small and the reward is instant.

When the page does not convert, the cause is almost always too little curiosity in the headline, a lead magnet nobody wants, or no clear instruction telling the visitor what to do.

Do it step by step

  1. Pick one painful problem your ideal customer has right now.
  2. Make a lead magnet that solves one small piece of it fast: a checklist, a cheat sheet, a short video or a script.
  3. Write a curiosity headline that names the result, not the format.
  4. Keep the page short: headline, three bullets, one form, one button that says exactly what happens.
  5. On the thank you page, deliver the gift and show the first paid offer.
  6. Connect a short email sequence so every new lead hears from you within minutes.
